Examination of the shoulder joint
Shoulder joint is the joint with maximum mobility. Any complaint of pain in the shoulder area has to be evaluated meticulously and carefully. Attending physician must include detailed examination of neck and upper arm as well. The pathology may involve rotator cuff, any on of the acromioclavicular or the shoulder joint itself as well as numerous tendons and ligaments that are either attached or traverse the joint.
