Coronary angiography: indications
Coronary angiography is an invasive investigation to study the anatomy of the coronary arteries. It is an imaging modality using X-ray to study blood vessels and/ or chambers of the heart. A contrast is used to highlight the vessel lumen. Resulting images are called the angiogram. Coronary angiography may be done from femoral or radial route.
