Follow-up after PTCA / CABG
Post PTCA the patient first follows up with the operating hospital or local cardiologist 3 months after the procedure. At this time the cholesterol levels, ECG and X-ray chest are done. The next follow up is every 3-6 months for 1 year. Aim of follow up is to reduce the risk factors for coronary artery disease.
