Epistaxis

Epistaxis is bleeding from the Nose. It is both a symptom and a sign; not a disease. Ascertaining the cause of epistaxis helps in management. It needs to be taken as emergency. Epistaxis is generally precipitated by nose blowing, sneezing, coughing and straining.
