Lower GI Bleeding
Lower GI bleed is an abnormal intra luminal blood loss from a source distal to the Treitz ligamentum. Commonest causes are diverticular Disease, IBD, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, benign anorectal diseases eg piles, anal fissure, fistula-in-ano and neoplasia.
