Guidelines for Nutrition in Pregnancy
Nutrition is an integral part of life and is very important during pregnancy. A proper planning of the diet in first, second and third trimester is essential for the health of the mother as well as growing fetus. The first step in this process is to make a note of the body weight. Keep a weight record and check your weight every 15 days. Concentrate on eating a healthy diet: plenty of carbohydrates, lots of fruits and vegetables, reasonable amounts of protein, and limited fats and sugars.
