All types of tobacco consumption is harmful. Smoking is a recreational activity as there is no physical reason to start smoking. With alcohol and drugs viz heroin, opium it forms the triad of addictive substances. Tobacco contains nicotine which is highly addictive. Over the long term, smoking leads to health problems like cancer, emphysema and heart disease. Each cigarette takes about 5 to 20 minutes off the smoker's life. Smokers also develop wrinkles early are also prone to osteoporosis. Smoking can also causes transient infertility.
