Small Abscess Drainage
Inject 2% lignocaine inj. with adrenaline for local anaesthesia. Once local anaesthetic has acted, incise abscess cavity with No: 11 blade with sharp edge facing outwards. Make long enough cut to help evacuate pus with ease. Open abscess cavity with prongs of artery forceps and lightly pack with gauze soaked in povidone & hydrogen Peroxide. Do not Suture.
