Dorsal slit

Retract prepuce and note the tight constriction area. Inject 2% lignocaine in the dorsal part of the prepuce up to the level of corona. Apply two straight artery forceps in a ^shaped (inverted V) manner and cut the prepuce between the artery forceps Now suture the cut edges of prepuce with 3 'o" chromic catgut (interrupted sutures) Now retract prepuce to check if it can slide back & forward easily.
