Gingivitis

Gingivitis is inflammation of the mucosal epithelial tissue surrounding the cervical portion of the teeth and the alveolar processes. The most common type of gingivitis involves the marginal gums and is caused by the collection of microbial plaques in people with inadequate oral hygiene.
