Subacute Thyroiditis

Sub-acute thyroiditis is a condition that is characterized by painful inflammatory destruction of the thyroid resulting in low-uptake thyrotoxicosis associated with an elevation of inflammatory markers, followed by a slow restoration of euthyroidism.
