Toxoplasmosis
Toxoplasmosis is a part of TORCH group of infections. Caused by Toxoplasma gondii, an intracellular parasite; domestic cats play a major role in transmission of the disease. Common problems caused seizures, partial or complete blindness. In pregnancy it leads to abortions, congenital complications including mental retardation.
