Baker's cyst
Synovial bulging in the back of the knee that can be congenital in children or in adults secondary to injury, arthritis or osteoarthritis and hydrops. In children, if a large cyst does not recede spontaneously, it can be removed surgically. In adults, the cyst can be drained with a syringe. Using the same needle methylprednisolone or triamcinolone can be injected into the drained cyst.
