Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the persistent or repeated inability for at least 3 months to attain, and/or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance. Damage to nerves, arteries, smooth muscles, and fibrous tissues, often as a result of disease, is the most common cause of ED. Psychotherapy and behavior modifications, Oral drugs like Sildanafil citrate, locally injected drugs such as papaverine and vacuum devices are the few modalities tried in the patients.
