Management of forearm fractures
The various types of forearm fractures are Olecranon fractures, Radial head fractures, Fractures of the radius and ulna, Fracture of shaft of radius alone, Fracture of both bones of forearm, Distal radius and ulna fractures and Humeral fractures.Immobilise forearm and upper arm and provide effective analgesia unless patient has other injuries with the potential for haemodynamic or respiratory instability.Identify other injuries. Because forearm fractures require considerable force, perform a complete physical examination to exclude other injuries.
