Muscles of Trunk/Scapula
Trunk movements require an interaction between various vertebral bodies and joints thereof. Trunk movements involve flexion, extension, rotation and lateral flexion. Muscles involved are rectus abdominis, internal/external abdominal oblique and erector spinae. Scapular movements are elevation, depression and retraction. Muscle involved are trapezius, pectoralis minor and latissimus dorsi.
