Shoulder complex
The shoulder typically involves 2 bones. The rotator cuff -- 4 muscles connecting the humerus with the scapula -- supply stability and balance to the shoulder joint. Proper rotator cuff balance is essential for arm raising and rotation. Shoulder pain is an extremely common complaint, and there are many common causes of this problem. Common causes of shoulder pain include Bursitis | Rotator Cuff Tendonitis, Rotator Cuff Tear, Frozen Shoulder, Shoulder Dislocation and shoulder arthritis.
